- Acts of Worship in Islam, 5 pillars·
-(1) Testimony sentance (Shahadah), 1 time mandatory to enter Islam, says in Arabic "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah".
-(2) Formal Prayer (Salah) 5 times a day·
-(3) Fasting (in month of Ramadan) 30 or 29 days, depending on moon sighting·
-(4) Charity (Zakah) 2.5% of wealth per year, on the wealth that is resting for last 12 months·
-(5) Pilgrimage (Hajj) once in life mandatory if believer has money to take journey·
Salah or Namaz info
- Salah, also known as Salat or Prayer, is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a fundamental act of worship. Its obligatory act of praying 5 times a day at set times, and is a direct means of communication with almighty God, Allah.

Ramadan rozaa info
- "Roza" One of the Five Pillars of Islam, means "fast" or "fasting," in the context of the Islamic month of Ramadan. It's a period to abstain from eating and drinking from dawn to sunset.

Question 1= What are the 2 optional worships during Ramadan ?
-(a) Tarawih, also spelled Taraweeh, refers to special prayers performed exclusively during the Islamic month of Ramadan. The prayers involve the recitation of long portions of the Quran by a person who memorized whole Book, and consist of 20 raka'ats.
-(b) Laylatul Qadr,the Qadr night, falls in the month of Ramadan, the night when Almighty Allah composed and saved Quran to a hard drive or so called Loh-e-Mahfooz, but the exact night is not known. It is often thought to be one of last 10 nights of Ramadan. This night is also known as the Night of Power due to the increased reward and blessings of up to 83 years of worship.
Question 2= How to get maximum rewards in Laylatul Qadr, the Qadr night ?
- Following types of prayer recomended to get maximum rewards.
- (1) Have the Namaz or Salah, also known as salat, prayed on time, then attend optional night prayer of Taraweeh or Tarawigh
- Optional salat Tasbeeh
- (2) Recite Quran, Following are most recommended.
- Surah Al-Qadr
- Surah Al-Baqarah, from Ayat 1 to Ayat 26 = bring numerous spiritual benefits, including protection from evil, blessings
- Surah Al-Baqarah, Al Kursi , Ayat 255 = reciting, normally act as a spiritual shield, to protect from evil and demons
- Surah Al-Baqarah, from Ayat 283 to end of Surah = bring numerous spiritual benefits, including protection from evil, blessings
- Surah Al-Imran, from Ayat 188 till end of surah = Al Baqarah and Al Imran for they will come on the day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two shades
- Surah Kahf = Reciting provides protection from Dajjal (the Antichrist),
- Surah Yaseen = help wipe away sins and purify our hearts.
- Surah As-Sajdah , (make sure to perform Sajda after this surah recitation).
- Surah Ad-Dukhan = home in Paradise
- Surah Al-Hadid = for home in Paradise
- Surah Al-Waqi-ah = bless house and protects from poverty.
- Surah Al-Mulk = Reciting, protects from the torment in the grave.
- Surah Ikhlas = gains the pleasure of Allah and forgiveness
- Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Naas = protection from various forms of harm, including the evil of the darkness of night, witchcraft.
